JW Marriott Bali Ubud Resort & Spa is a luxurious pre-opening property, estimated to open in Q2 2026. Located on a 2.8 hectare estate in the lush forests of Ubud, our resort will feature 100 exquisite guestrooms, suites, and villas, specialty dining, and world class wellness facilities. Position: Director of Marketing & Communications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the resort’s pre-opening and ongoing marketing and communications strategy.
- Oversee all digital marketing, social media, PR, and branding initiatives.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to create integrated campaigns.
- Act as the primary brand guardian, ensuring all collateral and communications align with JW Marriott standards.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a senior marketing role, preferably as a Director of Marcom in a luxury hotel.
- Proven success in launching a new property (pre-opening experience).
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and public relations.
- Creative mindset with exceptional storytelling and content creation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent relationships with local and international media.
- Fluent in English.
