Position: Assistant Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing all aspects of the engineering department.
• Supervise the engineering team and daily maintenance operations.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, procurement, and energy conservation programs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in a hotel.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Passionate about maintaining a safe and efficient property.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering is preferred.
