Position: Assistant Chief Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing all aspects of the engineering department.
- Supervise the engineering team and daily maintenance operations.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, procurement, and energy conservation programs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in a hotel.
- Strong technical knowledge of all building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational abilities.
- Passionate about maintaining a safe and efficient property.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering is preferred.
