Position: DUTY ENGINEER (Audio Visual Specialist)

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain all audio visual equipment for hotel events, meetings, and in room systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV systems.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all AV equipment.
  • Assist with general hotel engineering and maintenance tasks as part of the Duty Engineer rotation.
  • Liaise with event planners and guests to ensure all AV requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Duty Engineer or AV Technician, preferably in a large hotel or convention center.
  • Strong technical knowledge of audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, lighting, and video conferencing.
  • Experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV for events and meetings.
  • General knowledge of hotel maintenance (electrical, mechanical, plumbing) is a plus.
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • This position is available for Indonesian nationals only.
