Position: Demi Chef de Partie Pastry

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie Pastry in the preparation and presentation of pastry items.
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread as instructed.
  • Ensure all pastry items meet the hotel’s high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Support in inventory management and ordering of pastry supplies.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Good knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals.
  • Passionate about pastry arts and eager to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Culinary school certificate or equivalent is an advantage.
