Position: Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high quality dishes within the specialty section.
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in developing new dishes and menus.
  • Train and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs working on the station.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols in the kitchen.
  • Manage food stock and place orders for the assigned station.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie for at least 2 years in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In depth knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
