Position: Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Prepare, cook, and present high quality dishes within the specialty section.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in developing new dishes and menus.
- Train and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs working on the station.
- Ensure all food items are prepared as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols in the kitchen.
- Manage food stock and place orders for the assigned station.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie for at least 2 years in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- In depth knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
