Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and discipline.
  • Maintain consistent high quality, presentation, and portion control for all food items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, focusing on good teamwork and technical skill development.
  • Manage inventory, minimize food waste, and adhere to strict budget and costing requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP) within the Jakarta kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Min. 2 years experience in the same position in a reputable hotel kitchen in Jakarta.
  • Good communication and organization skills, crucial for team coordination.
  • Must be a team player with good personality, contributing positively to the work environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and technical culinary expertise.
  • Ability to manage high-volume production efficiently.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost control systems.
  • Dedication to upholding excellence in food quality.
