Position: Assistant Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in the overall management of the Engineering department and all maintenance operations.
  • Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and technical support across all areas of the hotel, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Manage and execute work effectively, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all technical standards.
  • Develop maintenance schedules, manage spare parts inventory, and assist in budget forecasting.
  • Delegate tasks and lead the engineering team, ensuring motivation, development, and timely accomplishment of goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer or a senior supervisory role in hotel engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and delegation skills for leading the maintenance team.
  • Must be a passionate and talented individual ready to take their career to the next level.
  • Ability to manage and execute work effectively under strict time constraints.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality in all maintenance activities.
  • Technical certification or vocational training in an engineering field is required.
