Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all culinary operations and ensuring kitchen efficiency and discipline.
  • Maintain consistent high quality, presentation, and portion control for all food items across all outlets.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, focusing on good teamwork and technical skill development.
  • Manage inventory, minimize food waste, and adhere to strict budget and costing requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).

Qualifications:

  • Experienced as the same role for min 2 years in a boutique or 4-5 star hotel kitchen in West Java.
  • Highly motivated, a good team player, outgoing personality and result-oriented culinary professional.
  • Passionate about people and service, especially delivering high-quality dining experiences.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and delegation skills in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and food cost control systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is highly preferred.
