Position: Cook 1 Bakery
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or Baker, specializing in pastry and bakery items in a hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Expert knowledge of bread making, Viennoiserie, desserts, and cake preparation.
- Ability to execute recipes consistently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety and sanitation standards in a professional kitchen.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow instructions from the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
- Certification from a recognized culinary school is highly regarded.
