Position: Demi Chef – The Restaurant (Chinese Cuisine)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a specific station within the Chinese kitchen of The Restaurant.
• Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Assist the Sous Chef with food preparation, inventory, and ordering.
• Ensure the station is kept clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Train and supervise Commis chefs on the station.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis, specializing in Chinese Cuisine.
• Strong skills in Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., wok, dim sum, roasting).
• Passionate about authentic Chinese food and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel kitchen is preferred.
