Position: Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., saucier, grill, garde manger) and ensure high quality food preparation.
  • Prepare and present dishes according to the hotel’s standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Train and mentor Demi Chefs and Commis in your section.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Manage stock levels and minimize food wastage within the section.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of food cost control and kitchen hygiene.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Specialization in international or Indonesian cuisine is an advantage.
