Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including menu planning and food preparation.
  • Supervise and train the culinary team to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Manage food cost control, inventory, and ordering for the kitchen.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Lead the kitchen brigade in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar position at a hotel or resort.
  • Good communication skills, highly motivated, creative, innovative with results & guest oriented.
  • Have a good personality, attitude & team player.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven expertise in menu development and cost control.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
