Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including menu planning and food preparation.
- Supervise and train the culinary team to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Manage food cost control, inventory, and ordering for the kitchen.
- Ensure strict compliance with all HACCP and food safety standards.
- Lead the kitchen brigade in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position at a hotel or resort.
- Good communication skills, highly motivated, creative, innovative with results & guest oriented.
- Have a good personality, attitude & team player.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven expertise in menu development and cost control.
- Passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
