Position: CDP Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry and bakery station, preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and bread.
- Develop new and creative pastry items in collaboration with the Sous Chef.
- Supervise and train pastry Commis.
- Manage inventory for the pastry section, including ordering and cost control.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation for all pastry items.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position (CDP Pastry) at a hotel or resort.
- Good communication skills, highly motivated, creative, innovative with results & guest oriented.
- Have a good personality, attitude & team player.
- Specialized certification in Pastry and Bakery arts.
- Strong artistic and creative skills in dessert presentation.
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
