Position: Commis
Responsibilities:
- Assist Chef de Partie in preparing and setting up the station for service.
- Perform basic cooking tasks under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen station.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards.
- Learn and develop culinary skills from senior chefs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position (Commis) at a hotel or resort, or a recent culinary graduate.
- Good communication skills, highly motivated, creative, innovative with results & guest oriented.
- Have a good personality, attitude & team player.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong passion for a culinary career.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
