Position: Chief Steward

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire Stewarding operation, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and F&B equipment and outlets.
  • Lead and manage the Stewarding team, including training, scheduling, and inventory of chinaware, glassware, and silver.
  • Control chemical usage and manage departmental costs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all hygiene, HACCP, and safety regulations across all back-of-house F&B areas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Steward or Assistant Chief Steward in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial dishwashing equipment and hygiene protocols.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage large inventory of operating equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
