Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu creation, costing, and quality control.
- Supervise and manage the kitchen team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, food costs, and procurement of supplies.
- Ensure strict compliance with all HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star luxury resort or fine dining establishment.
- Strong culinary background with expertise in international and preferably Indonesian cuisine.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and financial management abilities.
- Creative and passionate about food, with a high attention to detail.
- In depth knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution.
