Position: Housekeeping Manager
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all aspects of the Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Develop, implement, and monitor departmental operating procedures, ensuring adherence to brand standards and safety regulations.
- Manage the department budget, control expenses, and manage inventory for linen, supplies, and guest amenities.
- Lead, motivate, and train the Housekeeping team, fostering a culture of pride and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure impeccable standards.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and Engineering departments to ensure efficient flow of rooms and maintenance requests.
- Handle and resolve escalated guest feedback related to cleanliness or amenities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience (4+ years) as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager in a large-scale, luxury hotel (4- or 5-star) in Bandung or a similar metropolitan area.
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership, staff management, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control within the Housekeeping department.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, capable of identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies.
- Commitment to the warmth and pride in work essential for premium guest interaction.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Thorough knowledge of modern cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
