Position: Hostess
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome all guests upon arrival at the restaurant, managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Manage the reservation system, ensuring optimal seating capacity and flow in the dining area.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce them to their server.
- Handle guest inquiries over the phone and in-person regarding restaurant hours, menus, and special requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
- Assist the service team with basic tasks such as menu preparation and setting up amenities during busy periods.
- Contribute to the sophisticated ambience by maintaining a high standard of professionalism and appearance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year) as a Hostess, Guest Relations, or Front Desk Agent in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a welcoming and pleasant personality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating charts effectively.
- High standard of personal grooming and presentation, essential for the first point of contact.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required for communication with international guests.
- Diploma or Academy certification in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- A proactive approach to ensuring guest comfort and adherence to the 5-star service standard in Central Jakarta.
