Position: Bartender
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and wine, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Manage bar inventory, including liquor, spirits, mixers, and perishables, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
- Interact positively and professionally with guests, providing recommendations and creating a welcoming bar atmosphere.
- Process guest payments accurately and manage cash floats and end-of-shift reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and hotel policies regarding alcohol service and responsible drinking.
- Assist in developing new and innovative beverage menus suitable for a sophisticated ambience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Bartender in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or 5-star hotel in Jakarta.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, wine, and liquor varieties.
- Valid certification in bartending and/or responsible alcohol service is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders efficiently under pressure.
- High standard of personal hygiene, grooming, and appearance.
