Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality specifications
- Assist the Chef de Partie in supervising the section and training junior staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor
- Ensure all food is stored and handled in accordance with hygiene standards
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or vocational training in food production
- Previous experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant
- Good understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary trends
