Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station according to HACCP standards.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize food waste through efficient preparation methods.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation of all food items served.
- Guide and support junior kitchen staff or commis in their daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized hospitality institution.
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a hotel or reputable restaurant.
- Good knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Creative flair and passion for culinary arts.
- Team player with good communication skills.
