Position: Sous Chef (Japanese Cuisine)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the Japanese kitchen operations and team
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and authenticity of Japanese dishes
- Create and develop new menus while maintaining food cost targets
- Train and mentor junior culinary staff in Japanese cooking techniques
- Oversee hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen section
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Japanese Cuisine
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
- Comprehensive knowledge of Japanese ingredients and culinary traditions
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Indonesian National only due to work permit limitations
