Position: Chef de Partie Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the pastry section under the guidance of the Pastry Chef.
- Prepare a wide variety of high-quality goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, puddings, breads, and pastries.
- Ensure all food preparation meets the hotel’s hygiene and safety standards.
- Train and mentor junior staff to ensure consistency and skill development.
- Assist in creating new pastry menus and dessert concepts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in the pastry kitchen of a luxury hotel.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, and dessert presentation.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
