Position: CDP Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the pastry section to ensure high-quality production of all baked goods and desserts
- Develop and create innovative pastry menus in line with Grand Mercure standards
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation for the pastry department
- Supervise and train the pastry team in technical skills and hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with food safety and ESG standards within the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the related position
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Capability of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong in delivering excellent service for guest satisfaction
- Exceptional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Creative and innovative approach to pastry arts
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
