Position: CDP Pastry

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the pastry section to ensure high-quality production of all baked goods and desserts
  • Develop and create innovative pastry menus in line with Grand Mercure standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation for the pastry department
  • Supervise and train the pastry team in technical skills and hygiene practices
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and ESG standards within the kitchen

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the related position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Capability of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong in delivering excellent service for guest satisfaction
  • Exceptional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Creative and innovative approach to pastry arts
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
