Position: Steward Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily stewarding operations ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean.
  • Manage the stewarding team and coordinate staffing for banquet events and outlet service.
  • Monitor the use of cleaning chemicals and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Oversee the maintenance of dishwashing machines and stewarding equipment.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained in all kitchen areas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a stewarding supervisor role within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations and industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a diverse team of stewards.
  • Service minded attitude with a focus on kitchen operational support.
  • Basic communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented.
