Position: Room Controller – Front Office
Responsibilities:
- Manage room inventory and coordinate room assignments to ensure efficient guest check in
- Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering for real time room status updates
- Monitor arrivals and departures to optimize room availability and occupancy strategies
- Handle guest room requests and ensure VIP preferences are accurately assigned
- Analyze daily occupancy data to support Front Office management decisions
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Front Office or Reservations role within an upscale hotel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail regarding room inventory management
- Proficiency in property management systems, particularly Opera Cloud
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to coordinate between departments
- Ability to work efficiently in a high pressure, guest centric environment
- Strategic mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and occupancy
- Relevant degree or certificate in Hospitality Management is preferred
