Position: Chief Steward
Responsibilities:
- Directing the stewarding department and managing the dishwashing team
- Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and crockery
- Managing the inventory of cleaning chemicals and kitchen utensils
- Overseeing the garbage disposal and recycling programs in the kitchen
- Coordinating with the F&B team for buffet setups and large event logistics
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Well organized, proactive, and service oriented individual
- Ability to work effectively in a team and dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of chemical safety and sanitation standards
- Strong administrative and inventory management skills
- Ability to lead a large team and manage physical operational tasks
