Position: CDP Pastry Bakery

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pastry and bakery section to deliver high-quality desserts and breads.
  • Prepare a wide range of pastry items following established resort recipes.
  • Monitor stock levels and order ingredients for the pastry department.
  • Supervise junior pastry cooks and ensure strict hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Create innovative seasonal pastry offerings to delight resort guests.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CDP or Senior Commis in the pastry section of 5-star hotels.
  • Expertise in various pastry techniques, chocolate work, and bread making.
  • Creative flair for modern dessert presentation and fine dining standards.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead a small kitchen team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new culinary trends.
  • Educational background in Culinary Arts or Pastry is preferred.
