Position: Commis I Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior pastry chefs in the daily preparation of desserts, breads, and pastries.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station.
- Prepare ingredients (mise en place) for the team.
- Learn and develop skills in various pastry techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Commis or apprentice in a professional pastry kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of baking and pastry fundamentals.
- A passion for pastry and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary school certificate is an advantage.
- Good work ethic and a positive team player.
- Understanding of basic food safety standards.
