Position: Chef De Partie
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the assigned kitchen section to ensure high quality food production.
- Manage and train commis and kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for ingredient supplies.
- Ensure all food preparations align with Swissôtel simplicity and brand standards.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation levels in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a kitchen section.
- Proficiency in various international culinary styles, particularly fusion techniques.
- Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistent food presentation.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.
