Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and menu development.
  • Supervise food preparation and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
  • Control kitchen costs through effective inventory and waste management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Advanced culinary knowledge across multiple cuisines and techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing large kitchen teams.
  • Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet high production standards.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills regarding kitchen administration.
  • Strong command of English is required for this leadership role.
