Position: Commis II Hot Kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of hot food items.
- Prepare ingredients (mise en place) for the hot kitchen station.
- Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment.
- Learn and develop skills in hot food preparation and cooking techniques.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience or internship in a professional kitchen.
- Basic understanding of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow directions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Culinary school education is a plus.
- Hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation policies.
