Position: Engineering Staff (Carpentry and Civil Work)
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry tasks, including repairing furniture, doors, and fixtures.
- Conduct civil work, such as tiling, painting, and minor masonry repairs.
- Assist with the general preventive maintenance program for guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond to maintenance requests related to civil and carpentry issues.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and with minimal disruption to guests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry and civil maintenance, preferably in a hotel or large building.
- Strong technical skills in woodworking, painting, tiling, and general building repairs.
- Ability to read basic blueprints or drawings is a plus.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to work effectively in a team.
- Vocational high school (SMK) in a relevant trade is preferred.
- Detail oriented and takes pride in quality workmanship.
