Position: Assistant Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Purchasing Manager in overseeing all hotel procurement activities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services, ensuring quality and competitive pricing
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Coordinate with department heads to understand their procurement needs
- Ensure all purchasing policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and vendor sourcing
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Highly organized and focused on details
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
