Position: Demi Chef – Chinese
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of authentic Chinese cuisine for the kitchen section
- Ensure all dishes meet the hotel quality and presentation standards
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in Chinese culinary techniques
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards according to HACCP protocols
- Manage ingredient inventory and ensure proper stock rotation in the section
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Chinese culinary production in a professional kitchen
- Strong skills in wok cooking, dim sum, or other Chinese specialties
- Ability to lead a small team and maintain consistency in taste
- Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Disciplined and detail oriented kitchen professional
- Physical fitness to work in a high temperature kitchen environment
- Vocational graduate in Culinary Arts or related field
