Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon is a new world class beach getaway destination located on the scenic shores of Bintan, overlooking the South China Sea. Position: CDP Cold
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cold kitchen section and ensure high quality food production
- Lead and train junior cooks in cold food preparation and artistic plating
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Control food portions and minimize waste to optimize costs
- Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning for cold dishes and buffets
Qualifications:
- Relevant culinary experience in the cold kitchen section
- Strong knowledge of appetizers, salads, and garde manger techniques
- Experience in a luxury resort kitchen environment
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
- Integrity and a high standard of professional ethics
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
- Basic English communication skills
