Position: Demi Chef – Pastry
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in an international hotel
- Strong technical skills in baking, dessert preparation, and pastry arts
- Ability to lead a small section and maintain production quality
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Creative mindset for pastry presentation and innovation
- Good communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
- Relevant culinary degree or professional vocational training
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily preparation and production of high-quality pastries and desserts
- Support the Pastry Chef in developing new recipes and seasonal menu items
- Ensure all pastry mis-en-place is completed according to daily requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and storage
- Train and guide junior cooks on pastry techniques and consistency standards
