Position: Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role or position
- Relevant culinary educational background
- Well-groomed and good personality
- Confidence, highly motivated and passionately work
- Strong leadership character and kitchen management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Creative mindset for menu development and presentation
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations and food production
- Supervise and mentor the kitchen brigade to ensure consistent food quality
- Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and waste reduction initiatives
- Oversee the preparation and service of dishes for restaurant and banquet events
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP and workplace safety protocols
