Position: Chinese Restaurant Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate a specific section within the Chinese kitchen.
• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes to the highest standards of quality and taste.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
• Supervise and train Commis chefs assigned to the station.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen, with at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in various Chinese cooking styles (e.g., Cantonese, Szechuan).
• Experience with wok cooking is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food costing.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Creative and passionate about Chinese cuisine.
