Position: Chinese Restaurant Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate a specific section within the Chinese kitchen.
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes to the highest standards of quality and taste.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Supervise and train Commis chefs assigned to the station.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen, with at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in various Chinese cooking styles (e.g., Cantonese, Szechuan).
- Experience with wok cooking is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food costing.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Creative and passionate about Chinese cuisine.
