Position: Executive Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations of the hotel.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation are maintained across all outlets.
  • Participate in menu development, recipe costing, and inventory management.
  • Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive culinary experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine) in a 5-star hotel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines and modern culinary techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage a large and diverse culinary team.
  • Excellent understanding of food cost control and kitchen hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Creative and passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
