Position: Chef de Cuisine – Chinese Cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Lead the culinary operations of the hotel’s Chinese specialty restaurant.
- Develop authentic and innovative menus that showcase the best of Chinese cuisine.
- Manage the kitchen team, including training, scheduling, and ensuring quality standards.
- Control food costs, manage inventory, and ensure profitability of the outlet.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role with a deep specialization in Chinese cuisine.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Master Chinese Chef in a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Expertise in various regional Chinese cooking styles (e.g., Cantonese, Szechuan).
- Strong leadership, creativity, and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen finance and cost control.
- A passion for authenticity and culinary excellence.
- Ability to lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team.
