Position: Chef de Partie – Indian Cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Lead a specific section of the kitchen dedicated to authentic Indian cuisine.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including tandoori, curries, and breads.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes, following standard recipes.
- Supervise and train junior chefs and commis in the section.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and adhere to all hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or senior cook specializing in Indian cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of regional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.
- Experience working in a 5-star hotel or reputable Indian restaurant.
- Ability to manage a kitchen section effectively.
- A passion for authentic Indian food and culinary excellence.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Formal culinary training is an advantage.
