Position: Commis – Indian Cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the Indian kitchen with daily food preparation (mise en place).
- Learn and execute basic cooking tasks according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the assigned kitchen station.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef.
- Support the team in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Commis or kitchen apprentice is preferred.
- A strong interest and passion for learning Indian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Hardworking, reliable, and able to follow directions.
- Culinary school graduate is a plus.
