Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in the overall management of the kitchen operations.
- Lead and supervise a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Contribute to menu development, costing, and innovation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and ensure compliance with all HACCP and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- A culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in international cuisine and modern culinary techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Creative, passionate, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Strong financial understanding of food costing and kitchen management.
