Position: Assistant Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to hotel policies and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within a hotel.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain management.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Hospitality is preferred.
