Position: Commis Pastry

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Set up the pastry station and ensure all ingredients are prepped.
• Decorate and plate desserts according to presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry section.
• Monitor inventory of pastry supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis in a pastry kitchen.
• Formal pastry or baking certification is a strong advantage.
• Creative flair and a passion for pastry arts.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Good understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functions.
