Position: Commis Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Set up the pastry station and ensure all ingredients are prepped.
- Decorate and plate desserts according to presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry section.
- Monitor inventory of pastry supplies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis in a pastry kitchen.
- Formal pastry or baking certification is a strong advantage.
- Creative flair and a passion for pastry arts.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Good understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functions.
