Position: Demi Chef Cold Kitchen
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience, with specific experience in the Garde Manger or cold kitchen.
- Experience in a 5 star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification.
- Strong skills in preparing salads, appetizers, charcuterie, and other cold dishes.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in presentation.
- Good knowledge of food safety (HACCP) standards.
- Ability to work well within a team in a high pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and executing all cold kitchen dishes, including salads, appetizers, and pates.
- Ensure all food items from the station meet the resort’s high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station at all times.
- Manage inventory for the cold kitchen, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
- Adhere strictly to all recipes, standards, and food safety regulations.
