Position: Sous Chef (Job ID 25142735)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control.
- Supervise and train the culinary team, ensuring adherence to brand standards and recipes.
- Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and procurement to optimize profitability.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
- Lead the kitchen brigade in the absence of the Executive Chef, maintaining high standards of service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Sous Chef in a 5-star resort.
- Proven expertise in both international and Indonesian cuisine.
- Strong leadership, training, and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food cost control, menu engineering, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
