Position: Sous Chef (Job ID 25142735)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control.
  • Supervise and train the culinary team, ensuring adherence to brand standards and recipes.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and procurement to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
  • Lead the kitchen brigade in the absence of the Executive Chef, maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Sous Chef in a 5-star resort.
  • Proven expertise in both international and Indonesian cuisine.
  • Strong leadership, training, and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food cost control, menu engineering, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
